This is so much better than storebought! I like how it’s both tangy and sweet. I’m still trying to create a recipe that doesn’t use ketchup, so stay tuned for that. This comes just in time for summertime grilling!

Ingredients: (makes 2 ¼ cups of BBQ Sauce)

1 ½ cups of ketchup (Heinz Simply Ketchup)

¼ cup white vinegar

1 T Worcestershire sauce

½ cup water

½ cup brown sugar (use ¼ cup if you want it less sweet)

2 tsp paprika

2 tsp onion powder

pepper to taste

Instructions:

*Whisk all ingredients in a small pan and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

*Feel free to tweak the ingredients and add more as needed.

*Cool completely and place in a mason jar.

*Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
