Welcome and thank you for being here! I created the “Intentional Wellness Plan” so clients can lock in their daily routine. Some people have never stuck to a schedule and survive by flying by the seat of their pants. Although I envy the “loosey goosey” mindset, it can keep you from achieving your full potential. I would recommend leaving spontaneity to social and fun activities.
Once we’re born, we only experience about 80 summers on average. Think about how quickly time flies. Those people who just became empty nesters or retirees believe they have an endless amount of time, but that is just not the case. We’re very limited and if you think you’ll wait and accomplish goals once everything calms down and everyone is out of the house, you are going to be let down.
The reality is that you won’t know what your health status will be as you age. If you wait to pursue your goals when you’re elderly, then it may never happen. Traveling the world at 70 may not be in the cards any longer.
So why not live for today? How about learning new skills in your 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s? It may be a little trickier to find time with busy schedules, but it is possible. The average American spends over four hours on their phone each day. I would say that instead of scrolling mindlessly, do something productive.
The “Intentional Wellness Plan” forces you to dissect your daily routine and show where you have time to “fit in” tasks that bring value. Creating a daily regimen with intent is a great way to build consistency and maximize overall productivity.
I think we can all agree that we waste time throughout the day. Scrolling on our phones, binge-watching TV shows, spending time with toxic people, living in a cluttered house, struggling to make decisions, or constant complaining are all examples of things that kill time unnecessarily. Drinking alcohol and smoking are bad habits that produce nothing of value.
